Assignment
This weekend my stepmom's friend brought over some birds because he heard that I'm taking photos of animals and decided to help me out by bring some interesting tropical birds over. One of the birds was a white umbrella macaw named Candy. Umbrella macaws get their names because they have large feathers on their head which they stick out then they feel intense emotion, excitement, fear, etc. I want to take photos of candy with her umbrella up and down and try to make the background black so that I dont run into the same problem I did with the bird I edited yesterday.
My Shoot
This shoot is allot better then the other bird shoot because of how the bird contrasts with the background better. The feathers are all higher quality and have a much more interesting texture which is basically what I was going for in this shoot. I'm excited to edit these photos because I think they will turn out really good.
Edited Photos
These photos are really good but not quite as good as I had hoped, I think they could have been better if they weren't as noisy which I could have fixed if I had spent more time on it but the printed photo will be good so I'm happy with that fact after last weeks photo which I absolutely hate.
I don't know why I printed this one over some of the other ones since now that I look back on it this wasn't my favorite photo but whatever it's good. My favorite part of this photo is the beak since it look really interesting and unexpected since that's not how beaks are supposed to look. I also like the umbrella on his head since the shadows look really nice.
